David Braunstein, MD


  • Graduated Downstate Medical Center Fifth Pathway Program at Maimonides Medical Center and completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Nuclear Medicine Residency at the Brooklyn Veterans Administration Medical Center - Downstate Medical Center, and Radiology Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center
  • Fellowship trained in Body Imaging at New York Hospital – Cornell University Medical Center before becoming Board-Certified in Radiology in 1991.
  • Served as Director of Ultrasound at Coney Island Hospital from Year 1990 to 1998.
  • Served as Clinical Assistant Professor at State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn from Year 1998 to 2000.
  • From Year 2000 to 2006, Dr. Braunstein has served as Attending Radiologist at St. Mary’s Hospital, St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, and Pro Health Care Associates. Currently an Attending Radiologist at Good Samaritan Hospital Catholic Health Services of Long Island.
